If any of you have a good pic of one of your cows, send it to karina@maryjanesfarm.org and I will do some special effects and we will send you a dozen cards with envelopes to use. Gratis.

If you would like to include text on the back of your card, please email that to me along with your photo. Here's what MaryJane wrote on the back of her card:

Jersey
1-year-old heifer

Contrary to the marketing efforts of a handful of breeders in the last 30 years who claimed the original Jersey was miniature in size, the original Heritage Jersey from the Isle of Jersey was neither miniature nor as large as the ubiquitous Holstein of the dairy world. But as a result of those breeders who crossed Jerseys with the Dexter of smaller stature, we do have pint-sized Miniature Jerseys such as the adorable Eliza Belle with a withers height of 34 inches as featured here and owned by MaryJane Butters of Moscow, Idaho.

Cool! I have to think about that!

I live on a small farm of seventy acres called Green Forest Farm, with 10 horses, a donkey, 5 beef cows, 2 beef heifers, 3 Hereford heifers, around 60 chickens, 8 dogs, my amazing cow, AppleButter, and her little Jersey calf HoneyButter!

I have to say that these are amazing! And, even better in person! My cards looks almost like a painting and I just want to reach out and touch Clover.

I'm going to frame one of the cards.

Sydney, you should definitely send in one of your photos of Applebutter...what a great way to remember her as a little calf!

Just beautiful Karina. How very thoughtful, and such a kind gesture to think of us and all of our cows we love. Thank you so much. Can't wait to see some of the others as well.

No, I'm still thinking about it, no good pictures of her anyways. (She won't stop moving!)
