Everyone got out onto pasture for the first time today because it seemed like it's finally dry enough. There are a few blades here and there, but happy they were--bulls, babies, buxom girls. Even Miss Daisy mustered a hip, swivel, kick as she headed to the gate for her first bite of grass in several months.

They're acting like a bunch of vacuum cleaners. All except Buttercup. She just keeps running and running. Freedom!!!

Good morning! Have been missing out on the activity. Calving time is my favorite, even when it gets a bit stressful. So thrilled to meet Linus. What did you name your other baby? Too many things happening here to break away. With painters, three carpenters, one in the attic, and one working on front porches, and one working on screens for greenhouse, the electrician, and I was the plumber for a day. Have plants arriving daily and going after 4-3lb. pkgs. of honey bees and two queens this morning. So this day and weekend will be full of work. Hoping everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring weather. Need more pictures of those little calves. Take care all!
