I'm noticing a few brave bees leaving my hives today, even though it's chilly and rainy.

No one here can resist the happy daffies lining our lane.

I sure do love having so much soiled enriched bedding straw available for mulching.

The only thing blooming right now for my bees are daffodils and lenten roses. Not even dandelions are blooming yet. Even so, I'm seeing bees arriving back home with their legs covered in bright yellow pollen. I wonder if there's a market for happy daffy honey?

And my new calf, Linus, wishes he were in our orchard with my far-ranging chickens, but calves are rascals, and love to nibble on tender new fruit trees. The grass is always greener, but fruit trees are sweeter.

I have three ladle bouquets next to my milk fridge in my little farm store where my milk customers come to pick up their milk, self-serve. I have one customer who drives a couple of hours for milk.

The label says:
MaryJane's VisionWorks, old-fashioned cream separator, $5.00.
