Well MJ and folks... Took Daisy over to Id for an AI session with Dale Mortimer at Daloris Dairy in Rigby. He used sexed semen 2 wks ago. I have heard it is possible to go into heat even if she is pregnant. Old wives tale or ? Also if I send a blood sample off to Moscow after 25 days where do I draw the flood from? Tail, jugular? I am a retired but formerly skilled doctor and could always start emergency IVs in the jugulars of trauma patients but what are the landmarks for a cow's internal jugular?

Thank you Nelliebelle. Looks like easy landmarks although it looks like you would angle the need more horizontal toward the heart to stay in the vein. I will definitely give it a whack .
