"Total cute-ness combined with major functionality"

mary jane i have a term for that, seriously - it is a cindy-ism decades old that all men in my life have come to understand. its called... and its my trademark... "cuteness factor".

so when the men decide to build something in the house or around the farm, as we all stand around and discuss it and make decision we always wrap up with... how's the "cuteness factor"? because these men want to build things big, and sturdy, and substantial... and sometimes they are the ugliness darn things ever. so they have been trained to consider "cuteness factor" to ensure it is also pretty, or at least non-offensive ;>

its funny now to hear my father and lover boy standing around discussing "cuteness factor" at the end of each planning session to ensure everything will pass inspection by me or mom.

For sure it has to pass the cuteness test around here. Seems like Lover Boy showed his cuteness factor knack when he installed you in his life:)

Nick and the guys here say, "But is it ca-ute as in ca-UTE?"

Love this Cindy! My Amazon cart is getting fuller each day due to your great suggestions. When our dairy barn is complete, I'm getting two of everything so I have one for the goats' milking parlor and one for the cows' milking parlor.

And, of course, you need the "cute-ness factor"! My guys always quote Joel Salatin who talks function over perfect or "cuteness". I keep telling them we all need beauty in life ... so bring on the cuteness! I usually really like Joel Salatin and what he writes ... but not that particular detail!

Loving life and family on our Idaho farm, Meadowlark Heritage Farm; A few Jersey cows; a few alpacas; a few more goats, and even more ducks and chickens
