I am very grateful to find such a fun and helpful place to talk about cows. My husband and I and our seven children live in Pagosa Springs, Co. God's country definitely! I grew up here moved away when I got married and moved back 5 yrs ago. We currently have 1 very sweet Jersey/Shorthorn cross "Annabelle" She had her first calf two weeks ago. She is a great milker. The best cream and milk in the world. We also have two jersey bulls one is 1 1/2 "Ferdinand" and one 1yr old "Jasper". Ferdi is a mid-mini, and Jasper is a mini. They are both sweet boys. Annabelle of course gave us another bull:) My oldest daughter also has a quarter horse filly and 2 alpine pack wethers and a cat. We cannot forget my thirteen gold star ducks and two dozen chickens oh yeah our Anatollian Shepherd that takes care of all of them. We are in the process of restarting our milk herd share so we plan on growing our herd soon. Look forward to more chaos at my house soon That is a little about us. Looking forward to getting to know many of you!

A warm welcome from Idaho to you! Your assemblage of critters sounds rather familiar and I love raising our children amidst our little farmstead. This is a grand group of people with a vast knowledge all things cow. I've learned so much from this group and its delightful to meet people with the same interests, too.

Loving life and family on our Idaho farm, Meadowlark Heritage Farm; A few Jersey cows; a few alpacas; a few more goats, and even more ducks and chickens
